Diploma in Pharmacy is two years course planned to train students to produce pharmacists who are to play a basic role in our healthcare system especially in community pharmacy of hospitals and nursing homes. The program covers primary pharmaceutical education including Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmacognosy along with their application in the healthcare Industry. The students will undergo 500 hours hospital training after completion of two years course duration. The value added training and courses offered by JIT enhance their ability to take-up professional responsibilities in the Community Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Industry, Pharmacy Shops and hospitals.

Diploma in Pharmacy typically requires a high school diploma in science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students may also require to pass an entrance exam.
